It was in the year 1972, at the tender age of 19, Mr. RAJU SULTANIA took up photography as a profession. With 43 years of experience he has mastered the skills of wedding, product, table top and fashion photography. RITUALS
Indian weddings, also called 'Vivaah', are best known for the grandeur, traditions, grace, colors and almost carnival-type celebration associated with this sacred event. The Hindu marriage rituals can be broadly classified into pre marriage rituals, marriage rituals and post marriage rituals.
THE 'D' DAY
The rituals and process in a wedding vary widely. Nevertheless, there are a few key rituals common - Kanyadaan, Panigrahana and Saptapadi, given away of daughter by the father, voluntarily holding hand near fire to signify Union, and taking seven steps which each other includes a vow/promise to each other before fire.
