Please find below examples of support, resources, organisations, websites, information and publications for schools, children and young people and their families to support during the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19). Click on the buttons to be directed to the websites.

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) has teamed up with well-known illustrators and publishers to launch an extensive range of free digital COVID-19 educational resources for children.

Welcome to the FFL Classroom - our remote learning hub! Between the 30 March and the 1 September 2020 we will be posting activity ideas and resources to support remote learning at home. These are for parents/carers, teachers and pupils!

Following school closures, to support those looking for ways to educate and entertain children and keep them active, we are making school curriculum-linked resources available for home learning, with no registration.

Resources will cover English, Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing and Maths for Key Stage 1 (5-7 year-olds) and Key Stage 2 (7-11 year-olds), with fun activities to keep children active and learning at home. Resources are collected into 'packs' which might include one or more resources. PowerPoint may be required for some resources.

British Cycling has launched a daily activity calendar to keep kids moving and help them to develop new skills, as millions across Britain adjust to life out of school.

The imovement gets kids learning actively every day at home. It's FREE forever for you to use with your children aged 4- to 11-years old and features new fun activities every day.

A site with recommended booklists, categorised by age range and topic, including fiction and non-fiction. Family activities are included in the ‘Home Time’ section.

Downloadable resource packs which cover a range of subjects, including reading and writing.

One free audio book reading is available to listen to every day.

Downloadable resource books providing 8 weeks of activities.

Downloadable resource packs with tasks based on video clips on YouTube.

A site with recommended booklists, categorised by age range and topic, covering fiction and non-fiction.

A new image is published each day as a basis for creative writing. Story starters, questions and drawing ideas are provided.

Downloadable resource packs with teacher guidance. A week’s worth of resources is provided for each year group.

Downloadable guidance and resource packs for parents and pupils.

A range of activities. Some are interactive and some are to be completed offline. Activities are categorised by age range.

videos for numeracy development designed for children aged 0 to 6. There are fun activities that can be applied to everyday life and play.

Interactive resources covering the primary science curriculum.

An online resource bank, which links to resources on external websites. The site features a live chat function offering support from subject experts. New home learning resources are being developed.

10-minute activities based on Disney films that count towards a child’s 60 active minutes per day.

Videos which help children move while they learn. They support curriculum subjects, including maths and English.
