I chose the issue of approving payment requests to the local fire department

The local government of Pulaski granted money requests to the fire department. I agree completely with their decision because the fire department is a service that can save lives and is very valuable to the community. If we didn't have a good, functional fire department the village wouldn't be providing all of the important services to their citizens as they should. Pulaski gave money to keep the fire department running good. They funded everything that was necessary to keep the department in good working order. The largest amount of money was given for operations uses which was $19,024.08. But they also gave money for fire runs, fire trucks and for fire inspections totaling up to $9,120.37. By giving the money needed to to the fire department, they are keeping our village safe.
