Congrats!
You're now coaching a new partner through the Power Build Launch. Our goal is to help you break down the Power of 3 PowerBuild launch process step-by-step so you can successfully mentor your teammate. On this page, you'll find ideas showcasing what to cover at each coaching call, as well as the assignments your partner will complete each week to keep them moving along.
Call #1
How to lead
On this call, it's important to discuss expectations. Some key questions may include:
- How fast do you want to work through this plan? Set up a call schedule.
- Which channel will we use to communicate? What'sApp, Messenger, Email, etc...
- Which Gym Call will you commit to weekly? See live schedule and recordings.
- What are your goals for the end of this training month?
- Share a winning mindset: commitment, motivation, connection, learning
- It's also important that you complete the Onboarding process if you haven't done so already.
- Make sure to give them access to the Launch Page to they can follow along with the coaching schedule each week
Setting up this call effectively with expectations, a call schedule, and stated commitment will set you and your partner up for a successful launch!
Partner assignments due before the next call
- Make your list of at least 10 people. You may use this Excel sheet.
- Next to each person, write WHY you thought of them specifically
- Commit to at least one Gym call this week - LIVE or recorded
Call #2
How to lead
On this call, you'll discuss each person on your partner's list with them and decide which approach is best for each one - a product approach or a business approach.
Some great questions to ask:
- Tell me about each person on your list
- Do you think a product approach or a business approach is best for her/him?
Your goal is to pour excitement as fuel onto your partner as they go throughout their list. Get them jazzed about the potential! And continue coaching them on how to fill out their excel spreadsheet.
Partner assignments due before the next call
- Watch Module 2 - Invite - on the PIPES Training page - introduce the PIPES page as you transition to their next assignments. "The PIPES training is a 5-module course teaching our partners how to become Natural Solutions educators. Module 2 "Invite" is applicable whether it's a business or product approach. You can always go back to this page if you have interest to learn how to teach a customer-focused class."
- On your names list, write which approach you feel is best for each person - direct, indirect, or super indirect
- Commit to at least one Gym call this week - LIVE or recorded
Call #3
How to lead
On this call, you'll draft a couple of scripts together with your partner and spend time practicing. Use Eric Worre's Invitation Scripts PDF. This PDF is what is covered in the training they watched. Have them choose one person at a time to draft a script for. Draft a couple together (combining/creating scripts as appropriate) and practice outloud. They will do the rest for their homework assignment.
Questions to ask:
- Which approach are you using for this person? Direct, Indirect, Super Indirect?
- Are you starting with the business or the product with this person?
- If you received this sort of invitation, what would your response be?
Set the proper expectation for their list - the reality is, this is a numbers game, and not EVERYONE will say yes right away. "Let's see if we can have 1-2 people on your list agree to a call!"
Assignments due before the next call
- Write a script for each person on your list
- Make the invitation! (via phone is most effective)
- Give your partner your online calendar link so they can book 3-way follow up calls with you as their people reply. Use calendly.com free option if you don't have an online calendar yet. This will save you LOADS of time and looks professional as your teammates book 3-way calls.
- Commit to at least one Gym Call this week - LIVE or recorded
Call #4
How to lead
This is a transition call, where you and your partner will discuss the best mentoring schedule for you both moving forward!
Questions to ask:
- What is your goal for 3-way phone calls with me and your prospects each week?
- How many people do you think you need to invite to hit that goal?
- How will you work to extend your network?
- What sort of mentoring schedule would serve you best in this next month? (weekly? bi-weekly? as needed?)
- Are you committed to at least one Gym call weekly? Which one?
Be available for your partners! This is the best 'on-the-job' training they can get. Set the expectations that soon enough, they'll too be able to run these calls!
Moving forward
From this launch, you will continue to support your partners how they need. Perhaps they're ready to connect to the Builders overview in the OYLHUB. Perhaps they want to complete the PIPES training and start teaching classes. From here, it's your job to respond to their needs and set a training schedule moving forward.
The KEY to effective use of your time is to plug your partners into the standing weekly Gym call trainings. Be sure this is the key priority as they step out of Launch, and into growth!
