A vegan diet is the most sustainable, effective way to combat climate change, according to a study analyzing diets with lowest carbon footprints. Switching to plant bases diets can help reduce climate change, UN experts have said.

Would you be willing to adopt a fully vegan diet? Or would you rather just reduce the amount of meat you eat? And why?

There are some health risks which come with vegan diet but not all know about these risks. If you determine that a vegan or plant-based diet isn’t for you, then you might need to consider re-introducing meat back into your diet. Due to this it would be better to assess our health before deciding whether to go fully vegan or reduce meat consumption.

Should people who choose to eat meat pay extra for medical services?

This is a free country and people can eat whatever they want to eat. So, people which choose to eat meat should not pay extra for medical services. It is not proven that people who eat meat are the ones who fall more ill. People who have eaten meat their entire lives may find it difficult to remove it completely from their diet but they can always reduce its consumption gradually.

Should meat be more expensive to help pay for initiatives that combat climate change?

Meat would cost triple its current market value if we factored in its environment impact. There has been a debate regarding imposing meat tax since a long time. It will be a powerful step to combat climate change.
