When I step onto campus, I feel elated…. I know that I have multiple people who will support me, and I want to learn."

With so many available classes, every student has the opportunity to find their true passions and people who share their interests. "You can tell that the teachers really like the subject that they teach," Anna says, "and there's a lot of opportunities to try things that you wouldn't have tried otherwise." In addition to choices, every Academy class provides rich experiences.

In history, eighth graders craft artifacts for a mock archaeological dig, taking students through the process of unearthing, identifying, and placing artifacts within their museum. In science, students might get hands on by testing the soil health of our Desert Oasis Teaching Garden or maybe by analyzing a model of a crime scene in forensic science. No matter where students' studies take them, there's plenty to explore.
