• The Bees team of Zoltan Monori, DJ Nowacki, Kristof Monori, and Joel Thatcher teamed up to swim 6:33.05 and earn 40 points. That time was 9.50 seconds faster than their previous season best.
• Keiser (Fla.) is in second after earning a runner-up finish in the event with a time of 6:35.47. Pol Roch, Marcel Nagy, Marti Ranea, and Jared Ingram teamed up to earn 34 points.
• James de Goede, Reece Kincaid, Ron Wolfart, and Calvin Coetzee of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) touched the wall in 6:47.18 to earn a third-place finish.
• Midland (Neb.) and College of Idaho went 6:48.18 and 6:50.76, respectfully, to round out the top five.
The NAIA Championship will continue Thursday, March 5, with the second day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 10 a.m. EST and finals will start at 6 p.m. EST.
