Close to the beginning of the year, the idea of a boy's volleyball team was sparked in the minds of many attending the school. One student in particular Eugene Fisher made a petition to make the dream a reality he was able to get 26 signatures. The number of people didn't directly translate to the number of people playing in the end with 11 people currently in boys volleyball. As for Eugene's opinion on the team: "I think volleyball is doing great right now. I really love the environment of the team because everyone wants to get better and it shows."
As of now, the boy's volleyball team is standing at two wins and two losses. "For a team with basically no competitive experience, we are exceeding all my expectations, even with a few bumps in the road. There are no seniors on the team so everyone is going to keep getting better and growing together next year as well," says Eugene
