End of year vacation Story and Photos By Jesse Corser-James '23

During my trip home for Winter break, I headed west with my family to the "Entertainment Capital of the World", Las Vegas. Our roadtrip started from our hometown in Fort Collins, Colorado. On the way to Vegas, we took a two day break in Moab, Utah and enjoyed the scenery at Arches National Park.

My family drives along I-70 In Utah. Massive rock formations were present along the way providing many things to look at during the drive.

LAS VEGAS NEVADA

When we were done enjoying the views of the arches, my family continued on our journey to Vegas. After a long drive, we finally arrived on Christmas day. This is where we spent most of our time during our vacation. We went to various restaurants and hotels. We explored everything Vegas had to offer.

THE JOURNEY HOME

The trip home was not without its own adventures. My family decided to make one final stop at Bryce Canyon on our way back into Colorado. The amazing canyon formations were breathtaking. We hiked along different trails around the canyon. It had snowed recently so the rocks had white tips which made them even more beautiful.

Bryce Canyon is covered in snow. Most of the trails were closed due to weather, but footprints were still found down in the canyon.
