Knightly News 5/3/2022 Edition

Life Skills class had a blast collaborating with Martell Kindergarteners this semester. The Kindergarteners colored monsters and Smith Life Skills students brought them to life! The Kindergarteners were so excited to receive their new monster friends. Mrs. O’Donnell is beyond proud of her students and the hard work, creativity, and dedication they showed throughout this project!

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all of our Smith Knight Moms and all of the Moms in your lives a wonderful Mother's Day!

Very Big Thank you to our PTO and all of our parents

We are so fortunate to have such amazing teachers here at Smith and this week we had a wonderful time celebrating their incredible work. Thank you to everyone that made this Teacher Appreciation Week so incredibly special. Each day was filled with kind notes, treats, delicious coffees, and much much more. You made it a wonderful week!!!! Thank you!!!

Mr. Koneval’s classes were working on holograms for the first time in a few years. Only a few students were able to complete this complex project. Megan and Anthony (middle picture) and Luke and Kashifah (picture on bottom) were the only groups to complete the project and almost get it perfect. Great Job!

We have many of our Smith Knights Art Students in this year's TSD Art Show. Many of the pieces are also on display at the Troy Community Center through May 26th, if you would like to see them in person. Thank you to our Smith Art Teacher Mrs. Hosbach.

Students had fun watching and conducting chemical reactions using various polymers and reviewing the products they create for us as consumers. We love when we get to play in Science!
