Autumn 1 NEWSLETTER WORSBROUGH COMMON PRIMARY SCHOOL

The first half term of the new school year has been a busy one! The children have been readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists, as well delving deep into the past as historians. Keep reading to see some of the things we have been up to.

I'd like to thank our families who have continued to support us and been involved in our whole school community. It's been wonderful to see parents start to come into school, assemblies, workshops and family learning sessions to name but a few. Thank you for continuing to support your children.

Our new school library is up and running and it looks amazing! The children are loving this new space and all the fabulous books in there.

Thank you to Mrs Ainley who was successful in gaining a huge grant to fund this development!

Pupil Parliament

Our Pupil Parliament has a few new members this Year! We have already been very busy meeting Dan Jarvis and drafting a letter to the new Prime Minister, as well as thinking of ways the school could save money...
