The barking spider is an insect .

Where does it live? The barking spider lives in mulga country, leave litter, under rocks and in old logs.

What does it eat? The barking spider eats frogs, insects and birds they don't eat it all they wrap it up in its web and uses it for leftovers.

Physical appearance. The barking spider is 6 cm long, it has hairy legs that are 16 cm long! And their fangs are one cm long.

Adaptations. The barking spider has two long hairy fangs that help it burrow, the barking spider makes its barking sound by rubbing their spines on the lower jaw with their legs.

Fun facts

They dig burrows to get out of the sun and they can drown but the hair stops the water bubbles.
