I love music, from record collecting, hanging out in my favourite record shop Captain Stomp Records to working on 3mdr 97.1fm.

But most of all I love live music, there is something about gigs that connect people. the stranger you stood next to, can become your best friend for the evening, or the whole weekend if it's a festival. It feels like the artist is singing directly to you. They're magical events, and that's what I try and capture in my photography

I also love the musicians themselves. They're the most supportive, down-to-earth group of people you'll ever meet, who just love sharing their art with you.

I've been truly blessed to be able to photograph and meet some of my favourite artists and be part of the music community.

I'm the resident photographer at The Lyre Room at Burrinja, which always has fantastic music. It's well worth a visit, check out their website for what's on.

You can find me wandering around Healesville Music Festival it's always a fantastic weekend of music.

The Selby Folk Club is another favourite venue that I have close ties to.

And The Basin Music Festival who along with their big annual festival put smaller shows on throughout the year.
