The Ben Drake Collective EPK: relevant as of 14/11/22

On being an ambassador for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust (PFT):

After losing his dad to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in late 2020 Ben wanted to do something in his father's memory. After learning about the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust and seeing all the valuable work they do helping those dealing with PF Ben was honoured to be asked to become an ambassador for the trust to help raise awareness of the disease.

PFT Charity single 'There' Song Bio:

'There' was written in memory of Ben's late father, in many ways to help him deal with the grief as songwriters tend to do, but also as a way of keeping his father's memory alive with a picture of him used as the artwork for the single

Written for The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust Ben wanted to try and capture the spirit of Christmas, being thankful for our loved ones who are there for us in times of need. A thank you of sorts in part, to anyone who looks after those in need, much like his mum did for his dad through his dealings with IPF. Speaking about his father Ben quotes "I know how grateful my father was to have his wife by his side in his final years."
