Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Cora Evans, V23, she/her
Because of Cummings School, I made friends that I know I will have forever, got opportunities to work in amazing places like Belize and Kenya, and learned so much about a career that I love.
Bill Orrico, V23/MG23 (MPH), he/him
Despite my initial focus on international and conservation medicine, Cummings School helped me develop a love of clinical, companion-animal medicine. I wasn’t expecting that. I’ll be moving on soon to a small-animal rotating internship to explore clinical medicine further.
Kat King, V23, she/her
Because of my time at Cummings School, I know my own abilities and strengths—and I’m not afraid to use them. My experience at Tufts has been amazing; I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Master of Science
Aaron Lambert, VG22
It’s always been my dream to become a veterinarian, but when I first applied to schools of veterinary medicine, I didn’t get into as many as I’d hoped I would. I wasn’t going to stop chasing my dream, though, so I considered alternate pathways, and Tufts’ Master of Science in Infectious Disease and Global Health degree seemed perfect for me—I figured it would set me up for success later.
Caroline Bonfield, VG22
The Master of Science in Animals and Public Policy program is unique. I can’t think of any other programs quite like it, that allow you to focus on both animals and public policy. It catered directly to the specific thing I knew I wanted to do, and I’ve loved exploring all aspects of the program.
Dini Zucker, VG23
The Master of Science in Conservation Medicine program was perfect for me. Its focus on interdisciplinary solutions fostered my desire to combine my tech knowledge and my interest in conservation. Also, my peers came from many different backgrounds and viewed problems from angles that were completely different from the ones I was trained to see. It was an amazing experience!
