LAST WEEK

The Polar Bears rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to take a 24-20 lead with nine minutes to play against Hamilton. The Continentals scored 16 unanswered points over the final 8:22 to come away with the eventual 37-24 victory.

Despite Bowdoin holding the edge in time of possession (37:39-22:21), the Continentals totaled 403 yards of offense to Bowdoin's 321 in the victory.

LEAGUE LEADERS

After week one, Austin McCrum is third in the league in passing yards (229) and fourth in total offense (245 yards)

Bo Millett is tied for the NESCAC lead with six receptions and stands sixth in the league with 70 yards in week one against Hamilton.

As a team, the Polar Bears rank third in passing offense (229 yards), sixth in total offense (321 yards) and rank first in third down conversions (10-20, 50%).

UNFAMILIAR TERRITORY

The Bantams struggled mightily on offense in their week one loss at Tufts, 14-8, mustering only 281 yards of total offense. Quarterback Seamus Lambert accounted for most of it, throwing for 111 yards and rushing for 88 against the Jumbos.

Defensively, Trinity was stingy as always, holding Tufts to 280 yards of total offense and only 14 points. Brian Casagrande ranks fifth in the NESCAC after the first week of play with 11 total tackles, including one for a safety.

The defeat marked the first time since the institution of the NESCAC as a football playing conference (2000) that Trinity lost their season-opening game.

LAST MEETING

Last season in Brunswick, Trinity quarterback Seamus Lambert passed for 280 yards and ran for 75 more in a 48-6 win over Bowdoin.

Trinity has won 20 straight against Bowdoin, dating back to 1999. It is the longest current winning streak by any team against the Polar Bears. The Bantams hold a 40-6-2 edge in the all-time series which dates back to 1912. Bowdoin's last victory over the Bantams came in a 19-0 decision in 1998.
