Making Merit
We were pleased to welcome monks from Wang Bost Temple for a merit making ceremony in the secondary building on Saturday morning.
Air Quality and HHIS Guidelines
As you saw last week, there was a dip in air quality recently, the first for a long time. I just wanted to let you know that we monitor the quality of our air very carefully so that we can take action when necessary. We also have air purifiers in classrooms. We are very fortunate that we are not as affected as other areas, nevertheless it can become a concern. Rest assured that we do take this aspect of safety very seriously and adhere to the guidelines assiduously.
Swimming
Swimming lessons are a very important part of the curriculum and we do expect students to take part each week - even when it is a little cooler. Please be assured that we monitor the temperature of the pool very closely and on cooler days, we limit the children’s time in the pool. Children also warm up well first. There may be good reasons for your child not to swim, for example recent ear infection or injury, if this is the case then please inform your child’s class teacher. Not only is swimming fun and essential for safety but it is so good for all round fitness. Thank you for your support.
Recycling Batteries
Our Eco-committee would like to extend their environmental efforts by collecting and recycling batteries. From next week battery recycling boxes will be placed in the Secondary office and at the Primary gate. Please do start collecting your used batteries in readiness to send them in next week. In order to make them safe please just place some tape over the terminals.
Art and Music Inspirational Weekend
IB and IGCSE students are still buzzing from an uplifting weekend of Art and Music experiences in Bangkok. Their visit to the Bangkok Art and Culture and JWD Art Space for the Bangkok Art Biennale was awe inspiring. This was followed by a world class performance of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra at the International Jazz Festival. It was a hugely enriching weekend that will undoubtedly influence the students’ own Art and Music works. Further details and photos of the visit on facebook ( Facebook Link )

คำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับค่าอากาศในโรงเรียน

วิชาว่ายน้ำ
วิชาว่ายน้ำมีความสำคัญมากและเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในหลักสูตร เราจึงคาดหวังให้นักเรียนเข้าเรียนวิชาว่ายน้ำในแต่ละสัปดาห์ ถึงแม้ว่าเมื่ออากาศหนาวเย็นเล็กน้อย โปรดวางใจว่าเราได้ตรวจสอบอุณหภูมิสระว่ายน้ำอย่างใกล้ชิด และในวันที่อากาศเย็นลง เราได้จำกัดเวลานักเรียนในสระว่ายน้ำ ยกตัวอย่างเช่น การบาดเจ็บทางหู หรือ การบาดเจ็บอื่นๆ หากมีกรณีดังกล่าว กรุณาแจ้งให้ครูประจำชั้นให้ทราบ ไม่ใช่แค่การว่ายน้ำจะทำให้สนุกสนานและจำเป็นสำหรับความปลอดภัยเท่านั้น แต่ยังมีข้อดีสำหรับการออกกำลังกายอีกด้วย ขอขอบคุณผู้ปกครองทุกท่านที่สนับสนุน
ถ่านรีไซเคิล
คณะกรรมการทีมอีโค่ของเราต้องการขยายความพยายามในการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อม ด้วยการเก็บถ่านรีไซเคิล ตั้งแต่สัปดาห์หน้าเป็นต้นไป จะมีกล่องถ่านรีไซเคิลวางอยู่ที่สำนักงานโรงเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษา และประตูทางเข้าหลักชั้นประถมศึกษา โปรดเริ่มรวบรวมเก็บถ่านรีไซเคิลสำหรับการบริจาคในสัปดาห์หน้า เพื่อให้เกิดความปลอดภัยสูงสุด กรุณาติดเทปที่ขั้วของถ่านด้วย
แรงบันดาลใจงานศิลปะและดนตรีเมื่อสุดสัปดาห์
