GIANT Orientation day

The GIANT Orientation day is the event for PhD students and junior scientists of the Grenoble area to meet their peers from other labs and discover the research going on in the GIANT campus institutes. Join the GIANT Junior Ambassadors team on 14 February 2023 and let them guide you through the campus labs and facilities... and stand a chance to win some cool prizes and GIANT merch!
Programme of the day
The morning session will take place at Y.Spot Partner Building, with a welcome word from our GIANT Junior Ambassadors.
A booth session will enable PhD students to discover the support services dedicated to them with several booths of students associations (Aitap, MaThèseEmoi, Elipsce, Glob'Alps), the PhD Alumni network of UGA and the International Students & Scholar Office (ISSO). They will present their activities and the help they can provide to students.
Then, the GIANT Junior Ambassador team will propose you a teambuilding and networking activity to get to know each other in a funny way!
The morning session will end with the GIANT contest in teams with over €500 in prizes to win!
After the free ;) lunch, the afternoon will be dedicated to visits of the GIANT Campus labs and institutes. The number of seats is limited.

The contest will be played in team...so each member of the winning teams will get a prize!!
- 1st prize: a graphic tablet
- 2nd prize: a bluetooth speaker
- 3rd prize: a GIANT pack
- chocolate medal: a bonus prize for the team coming "this close" to the third place
