IN A DIFFERENT CLASS

SUCCESSFUL 1ST PHASE

Our students have now completed their 18-month bridging and plant production program at the Haarlem Centre of Excellence, Southern Cape, SOUTH AFRICA.

This milestone comes after the Swedish NGO funded a 6-month introductory program plus a 72-month first level in Plant Production course, accredited by South Africa's AGRICULTURE SECTOR EDUCATION TRAINING AUTHORITY (Agriseta).

Nine (9) additional students are placed in full-time employ within the blueberry nursery industry. Their learning is provided by an industry specialist in Horticulture while they are in full employment at Bluedelite Nursery.

The next bridging program is scheduled to start as soon as funding is finalized. The new student intake will include small-scale and subsistence farmers.

Our class of 2022 young people from Haarlem and George in the Western Cape in South Africa who were acknowledged for their determination in adding to their knowledge and skills in plant production - a course fully accredited with the national qualifications authority. The event took place on 4th February 2023 at the Haarlem Centre of Excellence.
