Congratulations to the H.H. Dow High Orchestras and Chamber Singers on their successful New York tour! The ensembles traveled to New York from June 1st to June 5th. They had workshops with Broadway singers and pit directors from both Hadestown and Wicked. They had workshops with New York Philharmonic staff members Tyrone Clinton and Michael Adelson. They performed a joint concert at St. Paul the Apostle Church. They saw Sweeney Todd on Broadway, the New York Philharmonic at David Geffen Hall, and the Metropolitan Opera at the Metropolitan Opera House. All of this was in addition to visiting Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grand Central Station, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Center. It was an incredible way to finish the year!

Notice to families, students, and staff:

MPS continues to be in communication with the City of Midland regarding ongoing road construction, specifically the construction near H. H. Dow High School. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this construction at the beginning of the school year. H. H. Dow High families will be updated as new information is available to share.

As we begin the 2023-24 school year, we welcome new transportation staff as well as new bus routes. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these new routes, as it may take a week or more to complete them by the times initially planned by the transportation department.
