TRITON MEN'S SOCCER
RETURNERS
LYNDEN DAWSON (Jr.; GK) - Dawson returns to Eckerd for his fourth year leading the Tritons' defense. Last year, he made 12 starts in goal, leading the team's goalkeepers in minutes. As a sophomore, he had 49 saves on the season for a 0.671 save percentage while posting 1.5 clean sheets. IN 2019, he was named the SSC Defensive Player of the Week.
FREDERIK KLAUSEN (Jr.; MF) - Klausen returns as a leader on the backline for the Tritons this season. He started in 12 games last season and played the full 90 minutes or more in six matches while contributing to both shutouts. He added an assist against Nova Southeastern on Oct. 16.
BRADEN BRADFORD (Jr.; D) - Bradford is expected to be a significant contributor this season. In 2021, he led the team in assists with four and tied for the team lead in shots with 14. He netted two goals on the season against Shorter (September 12, 2021) and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) on September 25.
BLAKE BAUER (Jr.; F) - Bauer appeared in 12 games last season, with nine starts, and ranked third on the team in shots. He scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute against Saint Leo last season (September 29, 2021).
JOAO GOUVEIA (So.; D) - The Tritons return Gouveia for his second season after an impactful freshman start last season with a goal and an assist. He tallied eight shots with five on goal for a shot-on-goal percentage of 0.625
TOMMY LAMB (So.; MF) - Lamb started in 14 of the Tritons' 15 matches last season. In his first year, he was third on the team with 1,181 minutes and played the full 90 minutes or more in seven matches. He scored his first career goal against Florida Tech on October 13.
HARRY LAING (So.; MF) - Laing appeared in 12 games for Eckerd with 10 starts. As a freshman, he tallied three points in 634 minutes played, with his first career goal coming against Shorter on September 12.
VIKTOR MILTON (So.; D) - The Birmingham, England native missed his freshman season due to injury, but looks to make an impact this season.
RETURNERS (cont.)
JONATHAN FALBE-HANSEN (So., MF) - Falbe-Hansen returns for his second season with the Tritons after a successful freshman campaign. In his first year, he tied for second on the team in scoring, with three goals. He scored his first career goal against Shorter on September 12 and also found the back of the net against Fort Lauderdale on September 25, and Palm Beach Atlantic on October 23.
KYLE BINGHAM (So.; MF) - Bingham appeared in all 15 matches for the Tritons in his first season. The Doncaster, England native, scored his first career goal against Fort Lauderdale on September 25.
TOMMY SHEPHERD (So.; F) - Shepherd tied teammate Falbe-Hansen for second on the team in goals with three. All three of his goals came against Fort Lauderdale on September 25, as Shepherd recorded a hat trick, an assist, and seven points which tied for the most points in a game since 2012.
LUCAS BERGLUND (So.; MF) - Berglund appeared in all 15 matches last season, making 14 starts. He was second on the team playing 1,251 minutes, and played the full 90 minutes or more in seven matches. He recorded eight shots with two on goal.
ZACHARY ERVANIAN (So.; D) - Ervanian returns having appeared in eight games with two starts in his freshman season. He recorded his first career assist against Shorter on September 12.
ALEX GORDON (So.; D) - The Surrey, England native did not appear in a match for the Tritons last season but looks to make an impact this season. He played soccer at the Godalming School under coach Andy Maciel.

NEWCOMERS
ATHEN SLAVKIN (Fr.; GK) - Slavkin played soccer, football, and tennis at Cavalry Christian High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida, where he was the Team MVP for soccer.
MICAH NELSON (Jr.; F) - Comes to Eckerd after playing three seasons of collegiate soccer at Westmont College. He appeared in 28 games through three seasons at Westmont. In his second year, he tallied one goal and three assists.
JANNICK BRENGEL (Fr.; D) - Played at Rotteck Gymnasium Freiburg in Germany.
BLAINE SUTTON (Fr.; F) - Played at Somerset Academy in Mirimar, Florida, where he received first-team all-county honors.
BOBBY CRISS (Fr.; MF) - Played at Key West High School in Key West, Florida where, he was a four-time all-county recipient and was the county player of the year.
ADAM HILL (Fr.; F) - Played at DeLand High School in DeLand, Florida, where he was the team MVP and student-athlete of the year in 2022. He was named to the all-state team in 2022 and the FSCS All-Star East Team.
FREDRIK HEISE (Fr.; F) - Comes to Eckerd after spending one season at Tyler Junior College (Texas), where he appeared in 16 games, starting in 14. He tallied five assists and eight goals, with two game-winning goals, in his one season at Tyler.
DANIEL BLOOMFIELD (Fr.; MF) - Played at St. Lucie West Centennial High School in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. As a senior, Bloomfield scored nine goals, including two game-winning goals in the District 10-7A semifinals and finals to lead the Eagles to the state playoffs.
LUCIANO RODRIGUEZ (So.; F) - Comes to Eckerd after spending one season at Lubbock Christian University. During his first year, he appeared in 18 games with 15 starts, playing 1,296 minutes. He tallied eight goals and five assists on the season.
LIAM ARMSTRONG (Fr.; F) - Played at Jacobs High School in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, where he was the 2021 Northwest Herald Player of the Year. Armstrong was a two-time all-state, three-time all-area, and four-time all-conference selection.
JUAN REIS (Fr.; MF) - Played at Instituto Cubres CSS in Caracas, Venezuela.
JOHN FLETCHER '09
Head coach John Fletcher '09 enters his third year at the helm of the men's soccer program. He was named the head coach of his alma mater in March 2020. Last season, Fletcher secured his first career win and his first career conference win as head coach in back-to-back games against Fort Lauderdale and Saint Leo. Fletcher spent the 2019 season as EC's assistant coach, aiding the team to a pair of draws against nationally-ranked opponents. He also brings coaching experience from his time at the LA Galaxy and with Saint Leo. During his time playing as a Triton, Fletcher was a four-time All-Sunshine State Conference defender and a three-year team captain.
Joining Fletcher on the sidelines is Richard Ainscough '16, in his first season coaching with Eckerd. Ainscough returns to coach at his alma mater after spending two years as a graduate assistant at Rollins.

2022 MEN'S SOCCER QUICK LINKS
Eckerd opens the season at home with a match against Delta State on August 25th at 7:00 PM. They continue their three-game home stand with games against the University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama in Huntsville before hitting the road for their first conference matchup of the season against Saint Leo on September 14.
Eckerd was selected 11th in the SSC preseason poll. With many new faces joining the team this year to add to the returning roster, the Tritons look to shake up the conference starting at Saint Leo on September 14th and ending the regular season at Tampa on October 27th.
