Weston as appeared as many roles at ACC including: the Man in the Chair from The Drowsy Chaperone, and Jacob Marley in Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol. He would like to send a special thanks to his mother, Christine Kaye, DC Stell, and Dr. Jay Burton. He would also like to dedicate this show to his friend Josh Palin.

Nick Churchill

Nick Churchill (Brian Runnicles) is pleased to be returning to the CCCT stage. Last seen in Legally Blonde the Musical as “Emmett", he is a 22 year veteran of numerous college and community theater productions. A two-time recipient of the KCACTF Irene Ryan Nomination Award for Exceptional Acting and a State of Texas award for Excellence in Acting, some of Nick’s more memorable roles include “Lord Fancourt Baberly” in Charlie’s Aunt, “The MC” in Cabaret and “The Baker” in Into the Woods. He would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work and dedication; his wonderful parents whom have not missed one of his shows in twenty two years; his amazing daughters for always making him laugh and his incredible wife of 7 ½ years, Jodi, for her unending love and support. Finally, Nick would like to dedicate this performance to the memory of his grandfather, John F. Armstrong, who recently passed. This one is for you, Grandad!

Aeryn Lance

Aeryn Lance (Barbara) is excited to be performing on stage at CCCT for her debut roll. She has helped with a couple shows in the past year including working as stage crew and painting the backdrop on Tom Jones as well as painting the backdrop for Towards Zero. She has also played small parts in several episodes of the the TV show Stop the Threat. Aeryn has had a lifelong interest in theater and the performing arts but suffered from crippling stage fright and social anxiety for many years before managing to pull herself together enough to set foot on stage. Aeryn loves to spend her time getting lost in a good book, video game, or delving into the realms of fantasy within her own mind. She uses those as both an escape from her emotionally exhausting day job where she drives a school bus, and as inspiration for her various art pieces for which she hopes to someday get paid. She would like to thank her family for all their support as she follows her daydreams and the wonderful Thomas Meek for warning her when those same daydreams seem to be leading her off a cliff.

Pat Monks

Pat Monks (Leslie Bromhead) From Set building to board member, Pat has worked on and off stage at CCCT for years. A local attorney for 32 years, he has rejoined the board of CCCT. His most recent role was MacSam in “Ms Firecracker Contest”. He has played in “Tom Jones”, “The Crucible”, and “Wait until Dark”, “a Christmas Story”, and “Miracle on 34thstreet”, “it’s a wonderful life ‘, and “Charley’s Aunt”. He has also served on the board of the Bay Area Houston Ballet for three years, and performed in the “The Nut Cracker” party scene for 3 seasons. His wife Annette Dwyer and children Daniel and Demerle have been active participants in the theater with him. He is proud to join the ranks of Monks Thespian Family in Rush, Ireland that have been acting and directing on stage for the past 70 years at the Milbank Theatre in Ireland.

Angela Reader

Angela Reader (Eleanor Hunter) is happy to be back on the CCCT stage in this wonderful and classic British farce. Previous credits include Noises Off, The Dixie Swim Club, Run For Your Wife, A Flea in Her Ear and various Agatha Christie Whodunnits, as well as Everything in the Garden at Pasadena Little Theatre. In real life Angela is the Director of Sales & Marketing at Regal Estates Assisted Living in League City and enjoys conversations with her cats. Thanks always to the amazingly supportive, though consistently sarcastic loves of my life, my husband Mark and offspring Em and Charlie. "There is a Light That Never Goes Out."

Nicola Ryan

Nicola Ryan (Susan) was born in Scotland & had a professional career with the UK Ministry of Defence for 24 years. She was posted all over England and also to Cyprus in the Mediterranean where she lived for 8 years. That’s where she discovered her two loves, her husband Tom and acting. Since then she’s co-starred in a movie for charity called ‘Beach Patrol’, performed on stage in numerous amateur dramatic and comedic plays, musicals and pantomimes. She’s also performed many Extra roles including being on the BBC drama series ‘Doctors’, a TV commercial for Stewart Title in Houston and she played a zombie (in latex makeup) in a short film called ‘of loss and Zombies. In addition, she’s acted in a training video alongside Robert Bathurst (who appeared in the TV series Downton Abbey) and she’s played numerous roles in live ‘Murder Mystery’ productions on a train. This is her first performance with the CCCT and she’d like to dedicate it to her wonderful supportive husband Tom.

Brittany San Miguel

Brittany SanMiguel (Frances) is a first time CCCT actress. Having graduated from ACC in May with her A.A. in Drama she plans on continuing her education in theatre where she will nurture her love for acting and painting. Brittany would like to thank Julie Andrews, antibiotics for helping with her wisdom tooth, her fiance Jonathan for always being her rock and her Painting with a Twist-Pearland family for also being supportive and picking up her slack the past month.

He holds a B.S. in Drama/TV/Film Performance from Oral Roberts University and has served as administrative assistant and assistant director for CHARAKTER Ministry of the Arts in Tulsa, OK. Favorite past CCCT productions include Murder's Bad But Monday Can Kill You and Cole Porter'sYou Never Know. He has also been seen in Guys & Dolls, The Sound of Music, and The Ragman, which was performed in Paris, France. Steven has also served as a director for 4 prior CCCT productions,Plaza Suite, Charley’s Aunt, Into the Woods and Legally Blonde: the Musical.

Stephen Walters

Stephen Walters (Superintendent Paul/BRS Delivery Man) - has acted around the Houston area for a while now, but this is his first show at Clear Creek Community Theatre. He’s excited to be a part of the cast, and has had a great time working on the show.

Director

Thomas Meek has been a part of many productions, in many roles, for many years, here at CCCT. Some memorable favorites that stand out are: Stage Crew for Noises Off, Stage Manager for Kiss Me Kate, Stage Manager for A Flea In Her Ear, and of course the last show he directed on this stage, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Television and Film production from The University of Texas in Austin.

Thomas is excited to see this show going into performances, with his Television/Film directing projects (especially including the ongoing, Telly award winning, Stop The Threat series) generally leaning toward drama and action, it has been a welcome change and a creative challenge to direct this fantastic farce, and he hopes the audiences love it as much as he’s loved directing it.

His thanks go to: An amazing cast and crew that have helped make this show happen, Brittany SanMiguel for her fantastic vegetable painting, his brother, Robert Meek for his awesome sound design, stage manager Andrew Carrell for keeping track of all the little moving parts behind the scenes, his mom, Aprille Meek for her help choosing colors for paint and generally being a sounding board for other show issues, Clinton Hopper for helping me see a simpler way to build a guillotine, his dad, John Meek for coming up with the lighting design and your awesome programming skills to bring the set to life, and finally his extraordinary multitalented girlfriend, Aeryn Lance, who has been invaluable in building the set, staying late at night with me to get the set pieces built and coming in on her break in the daytime to paint the walls, and of course taking the lead on actually getting the hatch measured, cut, built and rigged, and so much more than I have space to list. Thank you all for everything you’ve put into this show, it’s gonna be awesome.

The PHILADELPHIA Story

May 20 - June 5, 2016

Join Philly socialite Tracy Lords on the eve of her second wedding as she juggles her fiance, her ex-husband, and a handsome visiting reporter who all vie for her attention. This mad-cap high society comedy starred Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart in an Oscar winning film, but is rarely performed on stage. It's a comedy classic with style that will leave you happy and even a little romantic too.
