Neurotheology is the study on what happens when a person embraces belief in God or some other form of religious belief.
It has been scientifically proven that prayer effect positively people's health. Precisely, improves self control, increases trust, makes you a more forgiving person, and offsets the negative health effects of stress.
Punitive God: Researches discovered that believing in a punitive God can be associated with an increase in social obsession, anxiety, paranoia, and compulsion. Those who believe in a public jive God, tends to be "cruel" towards other.
God as loving: People tend to be more lovingly, caring and benevolent towards other due to the influence of this God.
Scientists have proven that having a religious faith is a source of comfort and help at difficult times, whereas atheists have to solve their difficulties without divine aid; God has the answer to everything that we don’t know or understand, and belief makes you optimistic; Religion, it would seem, that it takes away the fear of death; In addition,functional scans of Japanese monks show that different types of meditation stimulate different areas of the brain, namely parts of the prefrontal cortex and the parietal cortex. Religious belief is also associated with reduced reactivity of the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), as is political conservatism.
With the Scientific proofs that have been presented to us. We came up with the conclusion that having a god, either a loving or a punitive one, has a certain impact on the believer's mind.
