Horizon Europe: a new initiative for Young Observers in evaluations

The Commission recently launched a new call for expression of interest to foster skills and professional development for young students in Europe. The Horizon Europe calls Youth 2022 initiative invites master level students to participate as young observers in the evaluations of proposals under Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation funding programme.

CERCA and LUKE (Natural Resources Institute Finland) sign a Memorandum of understanding

The agreement signed with LUKE is aimed at jointly presenting European projects in the Horizon Europe calls, especially in the fields of life sciences, bioeconomics, forestry, agri-food and ecology. CERCA and LUKE will also collaborate on research data management policies, technology transfer, and other cross-cutting issues affecting research and innovation management. + info

Results of Catalonia in the Horizon 2020 program, for funding for research and innovation

Last February, the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) published a report on Catalan participation in the Horizon 2020 program, which includes the results of the entire R&D sector. Catalonia has received € 1,740 million during the period 2014-2020, which represents 2.5% of all competitive European funds for R & D & I in the program. + info
