What do you hope to accomplish as student body president? Is there anything you want to introduce or change?
With my charismatic personality, I hope to unite my school community and be the leading example. I hope to bring even more school spirit and be able to create more fun events for the students. Although there are very few things I would change about OLLA, the one thing I would change is the vending machines by making them more modern and put more around the school.

What do you hope to accomplish as student body president? Is there anything you want to introduce or change?
As student body President, I will provide each student with meaningful experiences that will contribute to a fun and memorable year. I hope to serve my peers in a way that will prove beneficial to the high school experience, and I will represent them to the best of my ability. I want to keep the traditions and events that we know and love (like spirit week events and polar palooza), and I hope to bring new activities that will unify the school. To do so, I promise to listen to my peers’ requests/opinions and will advocate for each one. As President, I hope to create a positive and enjoyable school environment that will make for an incredible school year.

Do you have any kind of specific anecdote about dealing with funds that led you to take this on?
As early as middle school, I took on the role of mission ambassador for several years. In this role I was able to raise thousands of dollars through raffles and bake sales to be donated to underprivileged communities. I have continued to pursue this passion in high school through the creation of my service organization which includes selling sweets at lunch to purchase donations and by running for treasurer.

What appealed to you to take on this role?
I wanted to take on the role of Secretary because, during my three years on council, I have always taken on secretary duties such as creating spreadsheets, writing down the notes for our council meetings, and organizing different things for our spirit events. Also, I always volunteer to take on extra work to help out the rest of council and I work extremely hard to make sure our events come out perfectly. For example, I created the spreadsheet for Spirit Day and the participants in the games, the Google Forms to decide our prom themes, etc.
