TESTIMONY
I started following Jesus in May of 2020 because His simple teachings struck my heart like nothing I had ever heard. It was so refreshing to read a story that told me I was meant for more. A perfect love story that promises redemption, healing and freedom. Jesus saved me from my sin that I didn't even know I was drowning in. The day that I said "yes" to Him, colors got brighter. Finally I understood why I was feeling so so lost. The purpose of my life is to lay it down. He showed me that the most I can be is the least. That true strength comes from meekness. Jesus had every reason to demand authority, but instead He took the role of a servant. So I asked Him, "how can I serve?".
A HEART FOR MISSIONS
Shortly after I started following Christ I felt a strong pull to missions. Reading about the way that Jesus and His 12 disciples lived provoked me. I wanted to help the ones that were lost and broken like me. My friend told me about YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and I enrolled in a DTS (Discipleship Training School) for January of 2021. I went from never having attended a church service in my life to living in one. All of a sudden I was surrounded by a community of people that wanted nothing more than to see the world heal like I did. Everyday there was prayer and intercession for different spheres of the world that I didn't even know existed. Left and right people were telling me about all of these opportunities to serve.
UKRAINE
After three months of DTS I shipped off to Ukraine to do the outreach portion of my school. God put together an Eastern Europe team which included myself and six others. We spent two months doing ministry all around the nation. I witnessed God heal people in truly miraculous ways and my faith grew everyday. What I didn't anticipate was how much He would minister to me in that time too. I cried for the first time in years while we prayed for a man with shattered knees. All of a sudden I was seeing people as distant family - not just strangers. I had been praying for God to show me His heart for people, and He was answering.
My vision is to see communities all around the world set free from generations of PAIN and come together in joy and worshiP
