Final Project - Monterey Zoo logo redesign

The final project of our class was a simple task - design the best logo for the Monterey Zoo. This also included a task to create an informational flyer. My designs were presented as a Behance case study, along with mockups and analyzations.

Typography and posters

A lot of assignments revolve around the use of clean and suitable typefaces to create beautiful posters and illustrations. Here are a few of my best works

Business Cards

An important aspect of every designer is the ability to meet their clients needs, and every client needs a very well designed business card to make their business / organization stand out.

Over the course of the semester, we had assignments that focused on illustrations and typography. The build up of organizational skills was extremely helpful in creating amazing business card designs.

Thumbnail sketches and icons

For this assignment, I sketched out the initial of my name "V" and tried to manipulate it artistically to create thumbnail icons.

Album Art

We were tasked with the design of our favorite artist's album art. I created an assortment of album covers for my favorite band - Wolfmother, and a fictional band of me and my friends.

Posters: Geometric shapes and freeform lines

For this assignment, we were tasked with creating artboards containing an assortment of geometric shapes and freeform designs. A further iteration of this project was to add textures to the posters

Color Theory

For this assignment, we had to identify the color scheme of multiple images and use them in our geometric and freeform shape posters
