Fiji is a very culture based place. It is not only filled with tourists, but people who are direct descendents of the island's original inhabitants, who were there long before any foreign settlers or tourists arrived. Fiji is also a very popular vacation spot due to the warm climate and pristine beaches. Fun Fact: Wearing a hat into a Fijian village is seen as an insult to its chief.
Human-Environment Interaction
How the land is used
Fiji is a very popular vacation spot, as such it has many hotels for it size. It is also 13-14 percent agricultural land. Fishing is also a culturally important source of food that they draw upon.
Transport
How they move
To get to Fiji you can't drive, unless you have a submarine of course. You'd probably take a plane though. Fiji also has to have most of its goods imported, due to tourism items and a lack of space on the archipelago. Information and ideas travel the exact same as they do here. Size matters not when it comes to natural beauty, this is why people go to Fiji and its pristine beaches.
Regions
