From learning to be an advocate for my Korean-speaking parents to volunteering 1,000 hours in high school (received an award from President Obama) to serving students and interning at a local non-profit organization, Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), I was always drawn to serving others and my community.

- Virtual Monthly Movie Night's + Discussion: Hosted Liferay's first DEI event for Black History Month and screened "Hidden Figures", followed by a discussion with my co-host, Toni-Marie Wahlberg. For Women's History Month, we screened a portion of "On the Basis of Sex" to highlight Ruth Bader Ginsburg's first historical case against gender discrimination. April was "The Wiz" to highlight and celebrate Black joy, and for APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) Heritage Month, we are screening "Tigertail", followed by a discussion with a senior leader, Fred Tsai.
- Liferay Internship Programming (Summer 2021): Inclusive and intentional programming scheduled, such as check-in's, onboarding buddies, mentorship, networking, professional & personal development workshops, industry & leadership panels, and fun events!
- Training & Resources for Internship Mentors (Summer 2021): Discussing what it means to run a successful, inclusive learning environment for interns, the meaning of mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
