Mental health is an essential part of overall health. Our emotional, social, and psychological well-being affects how we think, feel, and act. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This important health observance serves as a time to raise awareness about mental or behavioral health issues, as well as reduce the stigma associated with mental health.
