Lees-McRae College Cheerleading
Experiential learning is fundamental to a Lees-McRae education. We gain knowledge beyond our textbooks. We challenge each other to sharpen our skills. We celebrate shared values but embrace our differences.
Our programs are connected by big ideas and even bigger achievements. And though we are unified within schools, our students collaborate across disciplines and test themselves in new situations. These four distinct schools are home to the academic life of Lees-McRae.
School of Arts and Humanities
School of Business and Management
School of Education and Social Sciences
May School of Natural and Health Sciences
Lees-McRae College is located in a town called Banner Elk which is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.
Known as the High Country, we are home to a bustling community filled with activities such as skiing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, rafting, and fishing.
Our location makes for easy driving to Ashville (1.5 hours) and Charlotte (2 hours).
Cheer Involvement
Lees-McRae Cheer prides itself in being a team that gives back. We cheer at all home Basketball games, perform during Homecoming week, participate in campus as well as community events, and support all of our Bobcats. We compete against other schools in our Conference at the Conference Carolina's Spirit Championship, as well as other competitions throughout the Spring.
