Newsletter 19th March 2021

Another busy week as we lead up to the end of term. There has been some fantastic poetry work, wonderful outdoor play and great Art work.

The children have all been fantastic again and showed how amazing they are.

Thank you for continuing to work with us at the beginning and end of the day. It continues to be working well and just a reminder that entry into school is between 8:45am-8:55am to ensure we don't have gatherings of people.

School life

Here is just a snippet of what you have all been getting up to this week:

LETs localise - Easter raffle

As a school, we are hoping to make the library a welcoming and creative environment for all children within school and a space for them to develop their love of reading. To do this, we need your help!

We are on the lookout for any prizes you or friends/relatives may be able to donate; we know the last year has been a struggle for businesses and will be using this as an opportunity to promote them to our school community.

Prizes can be dropped off at the school office any time before Tuesday 23rdMarch ready for the draw.

To buy your tickets, go to: https://www.letslocalise.co.uk/entertainment-details-view?eventId=11260

We also have two campaigns to raise funds to purchase books for the school library. Please do spread the links as far and wide as possible.

School Clothes

Please can you ensure that names are on all school items. We have quite a few jumpers and cardigans etc at the end of a day with no names on, which makes it tricky to know which one belongs to which child.

Covid

If you are self isolating or have tested positive and are in school with Key Worker Provision please contact us via the e-mail address: covid@galleyhillprimary.co.uk even if this is during half term - this is needed so that we can continue to track and trace over the holiday period.
