No Detention Field Trip ~ Thursday, June 8th
Students who did not receive a detention this school year, will be headed to Oaks Park! Students will need to pack a lunch for this field trip. They are also welcome to bring additional money, if desired.
Our Final Friday Focus is June 9th!
Does your student need some additional help with homework or just a place to focus on their work? Sign them up for Friday Focus! Staff members will be available to help from 9:00am-12:00pm on some Fridays. Our final Friday Focus will be June 9th. If you are interested in signing your student up for Friday Focus (homework help), please complete this form. Your student can also sign up at the office. You will be notified by the office once we receive your sign ups. Transportation will not be included this year. You can sign up through the link below.
8th Graders ~ Last day of school is Thursday, June 8th.
6th/7th Graders ~ Last day of school is Thursday, June 15th.
All students will do check out paperwork prior to the end school. If your student has any books and/or fees owing, you will be informed. Such fees may include lunch fees, student body fees, and/or library/textbook fees.
After School Activities Available:
Yearbook Committee ~ Happening on Mondays from 3:30pm-4:30pm with Mrs. Morrow. If you have any questions or would like to be a part of the yearbook committee, please contact Mrs. Morrow.
Homework Help ~ Mrs. Morrow and Mrs. Johnson are offering Homework Help in room 4 on Tuesdays after school. The final one will be Tuesday, June 6th. This is another great opportunity for your student to stay after school and get help on assignments. Homework Help is available right after school until 4:30pm.

2023-2023 School Registration is now open!
Our district has opened the 2023-2024 Online Registration. You can access the online registration through your Synergy ParentVue portal. If you need help remembering your login details, please reach out to the office at 503-835-0518.
Remember that all students need to be registered, even if they are a returning student. You can register all of your students at the same time, even if they are in different buildings.
When you log into your ParentVue, click on the "Amity School District Online Registration is Currently Open: Begin ASD Online Register".
If you have any changes, (i.e. address, phone, emergency contacts, health, medications, etc.) please make sure you update them during registration.
Once your student(s) are registered, the scheduling process can begin for the middle and high school buildings.

Save the Dates
Summer School is Back!
Starting August 1st, summer school will be available for students who will be in 6th-8th grade during the 2023-2024 school year. Summer school will be Tuesday through Thursday during the first three week of August from 9am-12pm. No lunch will be served and transportation will be the family's responsibility. Please look for upcoming information via Facebook, website and email.
Tuesday, August 8th ~ Middle & High School Sports Registration
Come down to the Amity High School Multipurpose Room at 4:30pm to register your athlete for sports. Pay your sport fees and complete any necessary paperwork for your athlete to participate in sports this coming school year. For your convenience, you can also pay your school fees at this time.
Thursday, August 10th ~ Free Physical Night
Free physical night for our Amity middle and high school students at the Amity Fire Hall. Come down at 5pm to the bay doors of the fire department and get your athlete's physical at no cost to you. A huge thanks to the High School Athletics Program, Mona Hatch, Tashi Haarsma and Amity Fire Department for making this available for our Amity athletes.
Sports Camps This Summer
Our high school girls soccer coach, Mr. Dyer, will be hosting open field time during the summer on Thursdays from 7-8pm during the months of June and July. The high school girls soccer team will be hosting a Soccer Camp August 9th-11th from 9am-11am at the high school. Please see attached flier.
Our high school volleyball program will be hosting volleyball camp August 7th-9th. Middle school (6th-8th grades) will be 4-5:30pm while the high school (9th-12th) will be 6-8pm at the high school main gym. Cost to attend camp is $50 per camper. If you have questions regarding volleyball camp, please contact Coach Grove at 971-241-2637.
Promotion Information
Promotion will be Saturday, June 10th at 5pm at the Amity High School Football field. Students need to arrive between 4:30-4:45pm and report to the blue gym. We look forward to watching this group promote from middle school into the high school. After promotion, the 8th grade class will be done with school.
