Topic #1

The war mainly started when Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on June 1914. Austro-Hungarian took it as Serbia wants to get in the way of Austro-Hungarian gaining power.
America stayed out of the war, because they did not want to get involved. Over time there were more more events happened so that made the US get involved

The US mobilized for war by creating many weapons for the war also they got the American people "pumped" for the war and sent everyone who opposed to jail.

Topic #3

The Winners were the triple entente. They won, because the US joined late therefore the enemy troops were worn out.

The 14 points and the Treaty of Versailles

In the first five points, Wilson proposed to eliminate the causes of the war through free trade, freedom of the seas, disarmament, an impartial adjustment of colonial claims, and open diplomacy. The next 8 was the right of national self-determination. And the 14th was the league of nations. In the Treaty of Versailles it says that Germany has to pay reparations and they have to have democratic government.

Inflation caused riot to brake at work places. Also African Americans felt as though there war efforts were for nothing, because they got no attention.
