Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Accra December 26th, 2023
Akwaaba! You’re finally here! We’ll whisk you away from Kotaka International Airport (ACC) after your arrival into the city and take you to your accommodations, Fiesta Residence. After you get settled into your new digs, we’ll introduce you to the rest of your tour guides for the week. As a group, we’ll all head to our welcome dinner and kick off our new journey together.
Day 2: Time to Explore the Real Accra December 27th, 2023
The best way to get to know a destination is by gaining a bit of its history. Today, we’ll be taking you on a tour that gives you a deep dive into Accra’s roots. We’ll immediately immerse ourselves in the local culture by trekking through the city to visit historical landmarks, sampling traditional foods, learning about the people and getting our first taste of Ghanaian hospitality, visiting the world-famous Makola market, getting some custom-made clothes from a local tailor, and stopping at Independence Square to take in the amazing view.
Day 3: Afrofuture Turn uppppp or free day December 28th 2023
Enjoy the greatness that is the Afrofuture Festival where creativity, music, and Africa's diverse culture combine for an epic day

If Afrochella is not your jam, enjoy a free day to rest at the hotel or jump into your own adventure

ALL guests should use Kendra to ensure that they are included in the group activities, transfers, and accommodations for this trip. SublimeXcursions is partnering with Awuni Tours for this group trip.

- Should increases in price be forced upon Awuni Tours by Government regulations, exchange rates, hikes in hotel fees, etc, Awuni Tours reserves the right to increase the cost of the package by 5%.
- Passports are required for U.S. citizens and must be valid at the time of entry and exit
- All visitors entering Ghana must have valid entry visas or, in the case of Commonwealth nationals, entry permits issued by a Ghana diplomatic mission or consulate abroad or any other visa-issuing authority mandated by the Ghana Government to act on its behalf. (ECOWAS nationals and those of other countries with which the Government of Ghana has specific bilateral agreements, are exempted).
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination is also required as part of the entry process.

- sublimeXcursions LLC charges a $100 cancellation fee. This fee is payable at the time of the cancellation request and the vacation will not be canceled until the fee is paid.
