How to Shoot Slow Shutter Speed / Long exposure

  1. Set up your camera on a tripod or stable surface

2. Lower your ISO to about 100, but it can vary based on your light source and setting

3. Set Shutter Speed to 10 Seconds (be careful not to set it to 1/10 of a second) You setting should look like this ---> 10"

4. Play with the aperture, in lower light settings try settings around f22. For brighter settings, adjust to a wider aperture.

5. Take pictures of the object while drawing light around it using your phone's flashlight

If you're working alone, you can set a timer to take the picture. See the videos below for instructions for setting your timer.
