UNG Fall Invitational MEN'S GOLF PREVIEW

Coker Cobras

The Coker College men's golf team is set to travel to Dalhonega, Georgia on Monday (Oct. 1) and Tuesday (Oct. 2) for the UNG Fall Invitational. Rounds one and two will take place on Monday, while the final round will be played on Tuesday. The Cobras return to the course after a lengthy layoff due to the effects of Hurricane Florence and their last tournament was the Coker Men's Fall Challenge on Sept. 10-11, when the Cobras took third place. Individually, Wanjoo Lee finished in sixth with rounds of 70 (E) and 71 (+1). Ethan Cairns carded a two-round score of 144 (+4) to finish in 18th, while Daniel Graves recorded a 29th place finish with a score of 147 (+7). Haydon Norwood and Zach Herold rounded out the lineup with scores of 148 (+8), finishing in a tie for 30th.

Player to Watch

Lee finished last season as a Second Team All-SAC selection while also competing in the NCAA Regionals. Lee picked up where he left off in the opening tournament, finishing sixth at the Coker Men's Fall Challenge. Averaged a score just over 72 last season and was ranked as high as 51st in the nation last year by Golfstat.
