Oxford-Emory claims first DIII Women's Golf Title
Oxford-Emory (GA) is the first women's golf team to be named DIII Women's Golf Champions after introducing women's golf last year with just individual competitors.
Oxford-Emory and RCSJ-Gloucester field teams in this years championship along with nine individuals representing six institutions.
Sandhills saw thier three individuals finish in the top-3 (Trinity Ahing, First; Ava Ray, Second; and Scotty Foley, Third).
The NJCAA DIII Women's Golf Championship was held for the first time in 2022 which saw six individuals compete. This year was the first time that teams competed and a national champion was crowned.
