The SBS series stands out to other stretchbanders because of the newly designed film transport and sealing construction of this machine. Sollas has created a machine that works with only one film reel where other stretchwrapping machines require a double film reel suspension (one at the top and one at the bottom). This new approach will give you benefits in less downtime and gives a more operators friendly and ergonomic film reel replacement.
Main specifications
One film reel design. Due to a unique clamping and sealing construction, the machine only works with one film reel whereas traditional stretch wrapping machines require a double film reel execution (top and bottom arrangement)
Top to bottom doors. For easy access and cleaning, the machine is executed with full length safety guards.
Standard OMAC PackML. For a perfect line integration and to improve flexibility, the SBS is programmed following the OMAC Packaging guidelines.

Siemens Simatic Touch
The human-machine interface (HMI) is a user interface that connects a person to the machine. With a 9 inch Siemens touchscreen display, you can change settings and operate the Stretchbander. The Sollas software is based on OMAC PackML for a perfect line integration and to improve flexibility.
Sollas KT-1000 Shrinktunnel - optional
By adding a shrink tunnel to the line and working with a film width bigger than the bundle size, it is possible to create a shrink-wrap with the characteristic “bulls-eye”. This is ideal for heavier bundles and/or to prevent products falling out of the bundle. The Sollas KT-1000 is an electronically controlled shrink tunnel. The shrinking creates also a tight and attractive wrap.
