Christmas Lunch
Christmas lunch was a real success today! Whilst there may have been a few sprouts pushed to the side of plates, it was lovely to see children enjoy their festive meals! Thanks to FOMPs and Monkton Park Golf Course for the donation of crackers too.

Chippenham Food Bank Hamper Appeal
Thank you for all of your generous donation for the Chippenham Food Bank. You filled Mrs Haine's Campervan!
The Food Bank were very grateful.
The Chippenham Food bank can help anyone who is struggling to afford or access food for as long as necessary. You don’t need a referral you just need to call them on 01249 655458 or email chippenham@salvationarmy.org.uk.
They understand that reaching out for help can be really hard but if you contact them, they will take some quick information from you and arrange for your food parcel to made up.

Parent Governor Vacancy
We currently have two Parent Governor vacancies. We are delighted to have received three nominations for the roles.
Instructions on how to vote have been emailed out.

Wildlife Fundraising
Thank you to everyone who visited Freya and Elise's wildlife fundraising stall at the Christmas fayre last Friday. The girls were raising awareness of climate change issues and raising funds by selling handmade gifts. They raised £17.80 in total, which they plan to donate to Greenpeace. Their aim was to encourage everyone to do their bit to help save the planet and they have suggested some ideas of things parents and children can do on their poster.

Christmas Fayre
A HUGE Thank you to you all for supporting the school and braving the weather to come along to our Christmas Fayre last week. Also a huge thank you to our volunteers who made it happen and everyone who donated raffle prizes, chocolate, teddies and tombola gifts!
I am delighted to say that although we don't have the final figure yet we have currently totaled it up to be over £500. Watch this space for the final figure,
Christmas Crackers
It was Christmas Lunch day at school and the children will have all received a Christmas cracker.
And this year it is with thanks to Monkton Park Golf Course who has sponsored the school and provided these for us.
Christmas Tree
This year FOMPs has supplied the school with their wonderful Christmas tree thanks to Pewsham Christmas Trees.

How the raffle works
For £3 you will get one entry into each of the 12 draws. That’s 12 chances to win. More tickets equals more chances to win.
Two draws will run daily from 13th December to the 18th December. We'll announce the winning numbers on the site and we’ll also let you know if you win via email.
There are three days to go until the first draw!!

School Applications
Applications are now open for applying for school places for September 2022.
All children due to start Primary school will need to apply. The closing date for applications is Saturday 15 January, 2022.
Application can be made online using the Wiltshire Council Parent Portal.
Online applications are preferred, however, if you require a paper copy please call Wiltshire Council Customer Services on 01225 713010

Due to change in date of training, our TD day planned for Friday 17th June has now been moved to Friday 8th July.
