Outdoor Day
We had been keeping our fingers crossed for a relatively dry outdoor day and somehow the rain stayed away today (mostly!). It really has been a special day and the children clearly enjoyed all the different activities on offer. Our campfire, den building and gardening were just some of the highlights and we hope that it has capped off a really successful first term for your child. Well done to everyone for a brilliant day (and term!) and we hope you have an enjoyable half term.
Library
We are delighted to announce that our library shelving has now been installed and we are in the process of moving the books into their new home. Lots of new books will soon be purchased too and special thanks to Mr Mooney who was kind enough to donate several books this week. Once fully ready we will be making sure all our pupils get regular use of the library and we look forward to welcoming parents to visit too.
Monkton Mole Awards
One of the most prestigious awards at Monkton Park are our Monkton Mole awards. These celebrate excellence across the whole term. Congratulations to this term to:
Arthur, Martha, Jake, Hermione, Tamzin, Ellie, Rory, James, Charlotte and Grace
