A Historic Season Behind the scenes of a once losing team

Nobody knew what to think going into the 2022 season. Last year was a rough one to say the least, with the team finishing with a staggering 3-9 record and with a new head coach, Tim Albin. People started to doubt the team and the new coach... but this year the Bobcats proved everyone wrong...

Ohio University quarterback, Kurtis Rourke has been a huge part of the Bobcats success this year. Being ranked in the top 20 of quarterbacks in passing yards with 3,256 yards. Kurtis was the winner of the 41st Vern Smith Leadership Award and earned Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Ohio University football had the opportunity to play Iowa State which is a power five school. This trip was one of kind for the team, being able to travel in a private plane and play in a BIG 12 stadium.
In honor of previous head coach of the Bobcat football team Frank Solich, the Marching 110 presents his name to celebrate the University's decision to change the fields name to Frank Solich field.
The Bobcats are getting ready for a big game at Miami University in Oxford Ohio. Assistant football coach and defensive coordinator Spence Nowinsky gives a pre-game speech to hype up the team. Spence is one of the best defensive coaches in the state and is in his first year with the Bobcats.
Ohio University football head coach Tim Ablin, and the rest of the football team celebrate a 37-21 win against their rival school the Miami University. The rivalry is one of the biggest in the MAC and has been going on since 1969. Over the years Miami is leading with 28 wins to Ohio's 24 wins, but the past two years Ohio has beat them and doesn't seem like they are slowing down.

The last time the Ohio University football team won the Mid American Conference was back in 1968. 54 years later the Bobcats are the MAC East Champions and favored to win the MAC Championship against Toledo. Jake Miller the director of strength and conditioning and Kai Ceaser work together to help hype of the team up to get ready for the big game at Ford Field in Detroit Michigan.
Kai Caesar is a graduate student at Ohio University and is one of captains for the football team. He has been a leader the whole 2022 season and took it upon himself to give the end of the game prayer after losing the MAC championship to the Toledo Rockets in Detroit at Ford Field.
