Early Life
John Adams was born on October 30, 1735, in Braintree, Massachusetts on the family farm. John was named after his father, a deacon of the church. His father was also, at times, the town's tax collector, selectman, constable and lieutenant of the military.
Education
He went to Harvard college. he was also part of the federalist party.
Career
He was a leader of the american revolution. John was a teacher and then he went on to be a lawyer.
Presidency
Adams took office in March 1797, and his presidency was quickly taken up with foreign affairs. 2nd president 1 term for a total of 4yrs
Impact and legacy
Speech: “Sink or swim, live or die, survive or perish, I give my hand and my heart to this vo We may die; die Colonists, die slaves, die, it may be, ignominiously and on the scaffold. Be it so. Be it so.” He was well known throughout the country and most people expected him to win
