Nurse Janet Oyoo arrives at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching & Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) in time for the clinic's 7:30am opening.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, JOOTRH has implemented strict hand washing procedures at all entry points of the facility. Everyone who enters the hospital campus—including nurses, security guards, janitorial staff, and patients—must wash their hands thoroughly.

Health workers at JOORTH implement social distancing measures not only during routine patient consultations, but also during interactions with their colleagues while on the hospital's campus.
An open tent facility located outside of the hospital screens residents for COVID-19.
Patients coming to access services at the facility must wash their hands and practice social distancing as well.
