Bio
Ever since childhood, Germaine Davis a.k.a. DonutxSlinger has been immersed in music. It started out as singing in the church choir and transitioned into joining the school band's percussion section. Eventually this lead to attempting to teach himself to play a few other instruments which include guitar, bass, and piano. After a high school classmate introduced him to the world of electronic music production, he bought his first midi controller (a Novation Launchkey Mini) and has been making beats ever since. Drawing heavy influence from artists like Dibia$e, Mndsgn, Knxwledge, J Dilla, and Flying Lotus; his music sits in a unique pocket of nostalgic hip-hop and chillwave.
After his first year of producing, Davis was invited to join the Buffalo-based music group know as "The States." as not only a resident producer but as their DJ for performances. Over time he gained the confidence to start doing solo beat sets at local functions around town which granted him a steady fanbase and the connections to branch out and work with other creatives. This led him to eventually join the Re-Sampled crew; a collective of beatmakers looking to leave their own marks in beatscene history.

As a Twitch Affiliate, The Slinger has begun to build up a community that shares his love for not only music, but also video games. He is regularly logging hours streaming throughout the week either cheffing up beats, playing games like Call of Duty or Apex Legends, or hosting his "Slinger Radio" series.
