Bio
Mukul is a Melbourne-based Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist, Beatboxer, Keyboard Player & Producer. Playing since the age of 6, Mukul is an autodidact who started performing professionally in 2012.
Having performed over 400 shows in India between 2018 & 19, Mukul moved to Australia to undertake further studies in Music in 2020.
He proceeded to busk in Melbourne starting in 2020 and has done over 550 shows since. In addition, he has played at numerous festivals, weddings and corporate events.
Mukul released his first single 'Brand New Tie' on all streaming platforms in July 2021.

He calls his genre experimental, coming from a mix of Blues, Rock, Pop, Funk and Metal. He aims to provide a full band experience with just his voice and a guitar by using percussive guitar, beatbox, bass elements and synth guitar elements combined with a LOOP PEDAL.
He has performed at various venues in Delhi and Melbourne such as 'Grazeland', 'The Epsy, St. Kilda', 'The Imperial Hotel', 'Richmond Club', 'Abacus', 'Sofar Sounds', 'The Hard Rock Cafe', 'The Pianoman Jazz Club' and many more. Apart from venue gigs, he has been busking in the city of Melbourne since 2020.

He has opened for multiple world renowned artists such as 'Amit Trivedi' and 'Kailash Kher'. He has also headlined various college events and festivals which include the 'Indian Institute of Technology', 'Delhi University' and more as a solo performer, or with his band 'emenes'.
Emenes
Emenes is a multi-genre project started by Mukul Jiwnani and Shenjit Basu. They have performed in over a 100 venues in Delhi, Mumbai, Shimla and even in Russia.
They recently released a few singles and an EP 'Basically Everything' on all major music platforms with videos collaborating with the biggest musicians of the indie music circuit, directed by Shikhar Shawn Bower.
Earning themselves a features in The Rolling Stone Magazine, Rock Street Journal, Wild City And The Indian Music Diaries, The Times Of India, Wildcity they have played live sets on Radio Hit 95 FM and Wion TV as well.
