Brandy Calvert Ringelmann

these 4 walls

Brandy Calvert Ringelmann has been an entrepreneur for the past 22 years in Quinte since her return to the area. From childcare services, retail and now arts and hospitality, Brandy has always loved finding voids in the market and creating something different, unexpected and experiential to fill those voids. A self taught artist with a background in business economics, plus her love of fashion, has her 2 businesses fueling her need for creativity in business.

Elaine Kruithof

Brambleberry Farm

Elaine is a second-generation fruit farmer responsible for managing sales, HR, marketing, innovation, and tourism at Brambleberry Farm in Quinte West. Elaine believes that everyone who works FOR her should feel that they work WITH her so they can work in an open environment where they are free to share their talents and individuality. She believes this type of teamwork environment enhances guests’ overall experiences. Since moving back to Quinte West, her love for the farm and desire to create a legacy here intensified. Her goal is to help to inspire new farms by incorporating new products and hands-on learning experiences. Agriculture is already a very unpredictable business and new innovations are very important for sustainability.

Amelia Campbell

Business Development Bank of Canada

Amelia Campbell, a professional with a passion for business development. Amelia has been a member of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) team for the past four years, where she has been responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. A resident of Prince Edward County, Amelia grew up at her family's business, Campbell's Orchards, and has deep roots in the community and a unique understanding of the area's business landscape. Her experience and expertise in the field have been invaluable in helping local businesses thrive.

Eileen Brown

Trenval

Eileen is the Business and Loans Advisor for Trenval Business Development Corporation assisting entrepreneurs throughout the Bay of Quinte and area. Eileen holds a professional designation as a Business Analyst augmented by University, Para-legal and trade acumen. Eileen’s entrepreneurial experience encompasses private corporate taxation, audit preparation, risk oversight, and small business ownership within Agribusiness from northern Alberta. Eileen’s is also a past volunteer within the Performing Arts world as a dance mom who relocated from northern Alberta to support her daughters professional training at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada. In 2022, Eileen was featured as a Leading Lender, a national initiative supporting women entrepreneurs towards success. Eileen actively participates in several organizations that support local small business including 2nd year Board member for the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce, the Quinte Business Achievement Awards Committee, Loyalist PAC (Professional Associations Committee), QLIP (Quinte Local Immigration Partnership Committee) and a member for KNDL, previously known as SOAN, an organization igniting investment that supports local entrepreneurship. Eileen is also lead for a recently spearheaded Community Economic Development Program, Mentor Connect Quinte, a complimentary program that supports entrepreneurial mentorship.
