The area’s pristine beaches and lush rainforests form the perfect backdrop for R&R and exciting activities alike that highlight the area’s unique multiculturalism.

Cierra Ross NBC-HWC is a Reiki Master Teacher and Board Certified Health Coach based in Los Angeles, CA. While on a journey to live a modern life of wellness, Rossy quickly found her calling as a reiki master and has helped hundreds of people balance their chakras through spiritual and mindfulness-based techniques. Cierra believes that merging eastern practices together with western science is the best support for the body’s natural healing process.
As an avid crystal collector, Cierra has developed an eye for one-of-a-kind, elevated specimens. Her travels have taken her on many adventures worldwide to source and mine her own crystals. After a meticulous process of cleansing and activating her stones through nature and reiki, Cierra releases her collections to private clients and public auction. Cierra views crystals as mini pieces of earth x art and is proud to have mined and housed over 200 unique specimens.
Cierra can be found on the east and west coast hosting circles, classes, and retreats, teaching the practice of reiki to those who desire to learn the craft, and participating in crystal excavations worldwide.
Trip Overview
Day 1: Pura Vida San Jose August 23rd 2023
Arrival to Costa Rica, Juan Santamaria Airport. You will be met and transferred from the Airport to the Doubletree by Hilton Cariari hotel in San Jose. Check-in at San Jose Hotel Afternoon and evening at leisure to enjoy the local surroundings
Day 2: San Jose to Puerto Viejo August 24th 2023
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Check out from your hotel in San Jose
- Private 4.5 hour transfer to Puerto Viejo
- Arrival at Puerto Viejo Retreat Center (Sonora Jungle) and check-in.
- Lunch upon arrival at the retreat center
- 1-hour Candlelit Sound Bath Relaxation Experience
- Welcome dinner at the retreat center
Day 3: Puerto Viejo August 25th, 2023
- Breakfast
- Cacao, Ancestral Medicine and Chocolate Goddess Bath
- Start with a visit to an Indigenous village, led by a local and witness organic chocolate made from scratch by a member of the Bri Bri community — from plant to plate! The Bri Bri have a long history of chocolate production in the Puerto Viejo area. Finally, head about 30 minutes outside of town to a breathtaking Puerto Viejo Waterfall for a hike and refreshing swim.

Day 5: Puerto Viejo /Afro Caribbean Farm to Table Experience August 27th 2023

- Evening Afro - Caribbean Private Cooking Experience and Evening Performance
- Have you ever tasted the real Caribbean? Now is your chance to learn how to cook it yourself! Side by side with a local you will learn how to cook like the local Caribbean, with healthy, natural, and organic Caribbean ingredients. This will often include coconut, rice, plantains, beans, fresh fruit, and other traditional ingredients. The class is held at your retreat center, and at the end of the class you will get to sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared!
