Stephenson Pet Clinic Brick and Paver Campaign Resumes

Your personalized message engraved on a brick or paver leading to the new Stephenson Pet Clinic helps lead the way to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine’s ever-expanding excellence. Each brick and paver gift will support the clinic, its landscaping, and permanent elements that will complete the public-facing entryway. Engraved bricks and pavers are a thoughtful way to memorialize a pet, pay tribute to a friend or family member, or honor a memory or event.

Order now to secure your legacy and be a part of the LSU Vet Med Stephenson Pet Clinic!

Curriculum Redesign Moves Forward

LSU Vet Med is embarking on a new curriculum redesign, the first at the School in 27 years, with an emphasis on clinical skills development, case-based clinical reasoning, integrated courses, and much more.

The accompanying infographic (right) gives an overview of the curriculum redesign process and key components. Watch this space for further developments!

Dr. Heidi Banse, associate dean for educational strategy, is leading the curriculum redesign effort for LSU Vet Med. You can follow Dr. Banse's Twitter feed at the link below for regular updates on curriculum progress.

Large or small, your gifts make a difference

Gifts from our alumni helped build the Stephenson Pet Clinic; funded scholarships; bought equipment and provided funds for departments to use for recruitment, training as well as other needs. Small gifts add up to big impact! If just two-thirds of our alumni gave $50 a year, we could establish a new endowed scholarship to help future generations of veterinarians every year! You can give online at www.lsufoundation.org/givetovetmed or send a check payable to the LSU Foundation (with Vet Med in the memo line) to the LSU Foundation at 3796 Nicholson Dr. Baton Rouge, LA 70802. All gifts count towards the class giving awards.
