BARAXANA Arts Festival 2020(Online) Theme: Arts, culture, LIfe & a pandemic

Even though the world is been swept by a pandemic this year, which has cost many lives, businesses shutdown and people laid off of their jobs, the year hasn’t been particularly colorful. However, Artists/Creatives have remained active in their sphere, preserving our cultures and telling our stories with or without colour.

Being online, the festival had an opening speech by the festival director, Tally Ozegbe, a keynote by Nanna D. Yakubu, Zonal Coordinator of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, a panel discussion made up of seasoned professionals, Cynthia Oguntoye of Maison Loulabelle, Alexis K. Johnson(London) Azeezat S.O Sofunde of TCC, Dr. Doug Kaze of RudeShock Records (University of Jos), David Babale (Clarity King) of Clarity Clinic and Chisom Iheabuzor Nwankwo of CIIE, who also held masterclasses in Art Curation, Business of Fashion Accessories, Wisdom for the African Creative and Creative Journalism.
